<itunes:summary>I was very excited when Deacon Jeff of the Catholic Cafe (radio show and podcast) informed me of his newest show, with a Paulist Priest. Father Bruce Nieli, a Paulist, engaged in conversation dealing with the concept of "The New Evangelization" and revealing a picture of the movement everyone should strive to understand.
A little history on the Catholic Cafe
Join us in the “luxurious corner booth” of The Catholic Café as host Deacon Jeff Drzycimski and co-host Tom Dorian engage a variety of guests in conversation about the teachings of the Catholic Church. Each week we’ll premier a new, thirty-minute radio program focusing on one of many Catholic beliefs. Catholic Cafe - About Page
That is a quote from the official website for the Catholic Cafe. Deacon Jeff and Tom Dorian are Cursillistas and I get the blessing of small grouping with these to dynamic men of faith, in the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. I was also blessed when I was invited to some of the meetings as the Catholic Cafe was being cultivated in Deacon Jeff's mind.

Throughout the past few years, the Catholic Cafe has produced a wide variety of topics that assist those seeking to deepen their faith and knowledge as "being Catholic." Do take the time and visit this great resource online: www.TheCatholicCafe.com

On the first segment, Father Nieli shares on a few key points/ topics of The New Evangelization. The Culture Sector, Social Sector, Civic Sector and Science Sector. Fr. Bruce did mention that there are six (6) topics, so I hope to find out the rest of the story,...

On the second segment, in the discussion the term "enthusiasm" is mentioned as being a key term used in the movement. Deacon Jeff shares his personal testimonial about his relation with his family, and the need to be "enthusiastic" with them.

"Joy" being a second term shared during this episode of Catholic Cafe, Fr. Bruce Nieli shares his favorite saint, St. Francis of Assisi.

Vatican II is discussed, and how to primary aspects should be a constant work in progress; renewed love of the bible and RCIA.

You will also hear mentions of joyful prayer, reading the Catholic Catechism, and participating in events and groups at your parish.

NOW! MY FAVORITE PART

Deacon Jeff shares some documentation from the Catholic Church. This document covers "The New Evangelization" and to be even more specific to catch your eyes and ears, your heart and soul...
URGENCY DUTY DISCERNMENT and CHALLENGES
"The New Evangelization for the Transmission of the Christian Faith", a great source for study, no doubt, for learning more about our topic at hand. I hope to cover this document in more detail soon.

Now I don't want to give all the detailed information about this great podcast, from the Catholic Cafe, but I will end with Fr. Bruce sharing the key points of Cursillo; Piety - Study - Action and a REMINDER of how important Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Strategy are for the future of the Church's communications,... a Theology of Communications.

Now the moment you all have been waiting for,... The Catholic Cafe - podcast on "The New Evangelization."

Something to ponder, something to pray.

Stay Holy

<itunes:summary>Mary, Mother of Jesus a topic of discussion that can go on for hours. Looking into how the Church views Mary; Blessed Virgin, Blessed Mother, Holy Mother, Holy Queen, Mother of Christ, Intercessor ...
Intercessor ... you said WHAT ABOUT MARY?
I guess around my neighborhood in the Mid-south the topic of Catholics worshiping Mary is always a good conversation, among the Catholics and Protestants that hangout together. This past week Deacon Jeff, of the Catholic Cafe, was sharing with me some of his studies on our Blessed Mother, Mary. This caused me to look back into the past, on the Catholic Cafe website and search for topics of Mary.

Check out the link to one of Deacon Jeff's podcast on the Catholic Cafe: The Catholic Cafe - Mary

This podcast had Fr. Ben Bradshaw as the guest speaker. Deacon Jeff (and sidekick Tom Dorian) refer to Fr. Ben as the Catholic Cafe's Head Chef. Fr. Bradshaw was a professional chef, before becoming a priest, and everyone likes his cookies.

If you enjoy Fr. Ben Bradshaw in the Mary episode of the Catholic Cafe, you might like his YouTube video on our Blessed Mother. Father Ben has a series of videos out on YouTube, his channel Catholic Nuggets.

If you would like to know a little more about Mary, Mother of Jesus, or Marian Theology :: Here are some links from SQPN, iPadre, and the Catholic Hack you can start with.

SQPN - Blessed Virgin Mary Memorials
	iPadre - Virgin Mary
Catholic Hack - Mary, the Temple and the Spirit

Something to ponder, something to pray.
