Social Media Marketing Coach, Neal Schaffer, one of my online mentors for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. As I sweep across the Digital Ocean of ideas, concepts and concerns, I am always finding my way back to WindmillNetworking.com. If you are new to the aspect of a your company or business applying Social Media Strategy to its daily work habits you have found your coach, keynote speaker, or marketing consultant.
My recent work with Executive Speakers Bureau and Gordon Jackson in the Greater Memphis area, I have found that business coaches, keynote speakers, and talented presenters are an important part of learning strategy, for businesses. Educating Employees on techniques of SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and Social Media Interaction is now an on-going part of business plans and marketing strategies for small business and large companies/ firms.
WHO ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Who are you looking for, when you search for a Social Media Speaker or Marketing Coach? Just like any industry or topic of your concern, there are a variety of marketing professionals that cover a broad horizon of ways to reach your business audience. Customers are more individualized more than ever with today’s online choices of “hang-outs” or “virtual playgrounds” and “digital retail.”
I found Neal Schaffer via a friend who is also into the Social Media Marketing. My friend invited me to a small conference at a local business college. My first face-to-face talk with Neal was fascinating. I was the first one present at the conference and the coordinator of the event pointed out to me that he was already inside the room, where the event was taking place.
I was following Schaffer on Twitter and with this advantage point of watching him in his natural habitat. I could tell his passion was real. Neal was zoned in and sharing a multitude of information in a matter of minute, and at the same time in conversations with me via Twitter and all the while active in other conversations with his Twitter and LinkedIn friends.
I tweeted to him I was right behind him, and we both laughed. It was a quick greeting and Schaffer immediately went back into his “Social Media Mode” and apologized, mentioning that he is not being rude. Neal explained to me that for the next 2 hours he would un-able to socialize on Twitter and his other online-media-hang-outs, and that he was loading up tweets for the next few hours. While he was loading up tweets, he was actually giving me a lesson in Social Media Strategy.
THE BUFFERAPP: Like Loading a Pistol, My Smart Phone Fired a Round of Tweets I would never forget!
Neal introduced me to the BufferApp and I was transformed into a Social Media Butterfly, from an SEO Ninja that day. The BufferApp was just one of many solutions for sharing on social media platforms, that he explained to the audience that day. I am grateful for my friend who encourage me to attend, and even more grateful for Neal Schaffer coming to the Greater Memphis area and sharing his knowledge of planning and strategy for today’s social media.
I really was not into a lot of social media before that time. Most of my days (nights) I spent calculating the perfect picture of a well framed image, that a search engine would swoop in like an eagle snatching its prey. Then swiftly moving up for all the World to see what glorious catch! But a business needs more than that in today’s online market.
Google’s move to include social media results in its search results was probably what awakened me to the fact that Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Plus were going to my new playground of study, for SEO. The ideas, concepts and concerns that Neal Schaffer shared at that small meetup was a foundation for me to plant my feet and ready myself for some hard-core ciphering of Do’s and Do Not’s.
I would have to say, if you are looking for a Social Media Marketing Coach, for your business or company, Neal Schaffer would be a top pick for any conference, event or training you might be considering.
