you said … What About Mary?

Mary Mother of JesusMary, Mother of Jesus a topic of discussion that can go on for hours. Looking into how the Church views Mary; Blessed Virgin, Blessed Mother, Holy Mother, Holy Queen, Mother of Christ, Intercessor …

Intercessor … you said WHAT ABOUT MARY?

I guess around my neighborhood in the Mid-south the topic of Catholics worshiping Mary is always a good conversation, among the Catholics and Protestants that hangout together. This past week Deacon Jeff, of the Catholic Cafe, was sharing with me some of his studies on our Blessed Mother, Mary. This caused me to look back into the past, on the Catholic Cafe website and search for topics of Mary.

Check out the link to one of Deacon Jeff’s podcast on the Catholic Cafe: The Catholic Cafe – Mary

This podcast had Fr. Ben Bradshaw as the guest speaker. Deacon Jeff (and sidekick Tom Dorian) refer to Fr. Ben as the Catholic Cafe’s Head Chef. Fr. Bradshaw was a professional chef, before becoming a priest, and everyone likes his cookies.

If you enjoy Fr. Ben Bradshaw in the Mary episode of the Catholic Cafe, you might like his YouTube video on our Blessed Mother. Father Ben has a series of videos out on YouTube, his channel Catholic Nuggets.

Something to ponder, something to pray.
