Catholic New Media Conference
CNMC 2011, the first day displayed via a slide show from Flicker! Great shots shared by those attending this Catholic Media Conference, in Kansas City, Kansas. As your viewing these pictures, do your notice anyone SMILING! I am glad to see the photos, and the dedicated attendees of CNMC, in lively spirits!
I noticed on slide from the pics was on the topic of QR codes. I am always interest in QR codes. There is a local startup in my area you should check out,… stiQRd.com
Also you will notice in the picture slide show, Matthew Warner sharing on Social Networking. flockNote, if your interested in checking out his work online. flockNote is a social media outlet for Churches wanting the capability of reaching their audience, with a variety of ways, since everyone is different on how the are use to communicating. Slip in and check it out, it might be for you, your parish, or diocese.
Lisa Hendey is in the vast rotation of New Evangelization being kindled. By the photo, she is sharing on optimizing social media for your parish. That is a prime topic for me, as SEOtechbench, with Social Media Strategy and Search Engine Optimization blended for capturing your online audience. I hope to see Lisa blog on her personal site, LisaHendey.com or on CatholicMom.com.
With all the action going on Google+ about “The New Evangelization” and “Theology of Communications“ I hope the conversation going on will set new ideas and concepts on the table for discussion.
Lisa Hendey is also part of the Catholic Weekend crew of SQPN. Wondering if they will be doing their broadcast live, from Kansas City, at the CNMC 2011, Catholic Media Conference.
The two priest I recognize are Fr. Roderick and iPadre – Fr. Jay Finelli. Father Roderick and iPadre are part of/ from SQPN, with Fr. Roderick be the founder of SQPN (Star Quest Production Network). I hope to see a few podcast come out, from the both of them, on topics shared at the Catholic Media event.

- If you are a Linkedin User Fan, you might see a little action by following the SQPN crowed — SQPN Company Page
Brandon Vogt was in many photos, but I did not see any referenceing him giving any kind of talk or session. I do hope to see a little action from him this weekend. I did see in the photo-stream, a table set up with his book, “The Church and New Media.”
That is all for now. I will be hanging out all day Saturday (Working on a new project, Mobile Staging Rental?… LOL Brings in the Bacon!) and be watching any action sprouting out from Kansas, from the CNMC 2011.
Big blessings and many thanks for the Flicker team!
Stay Holy,
